Support for Pets. Comfort for You.
Gentle guidance and compassionate support from a veterinarian for your pet’s final journey.
You’re in the right place
At Crossing Paws, I provide virtual veterinary telehospice and end-of-life consultations to support pets and their families with comfort, clarity, and care. My goal is to help you understand your pet’s quality of life, explore options for palliative care, and make informed decisions from the comfort of your home. Each session is designed to be compassionate, supportive, and tailored to your pet’s unique needs. I am here to guide you through this emotional time with empathy and expertise.

My Approach
I am a veterinarian.
But I am also a pet parent who has knelt on the floor begging a beloved animal to eat.
Who has studied radiographs with dread in my stomach.
Who has wrestled with the question so many families whisper in the dark:
How will I know when it’s time?
Crossing Paws was born from my own experiences navigating the end-of-life journeys of my cat, Marley, and my dog, Zoe.
Marley taught me about the quiet devastation of oral cancer and the unbearable weight of choosing euthanasia. Zoe taught me about fighting osteosarcoma, about hope and denial, and about recognizing when quality of life has shifted despite our best efforts.
Even with medical training, the decision felt overwhelming.
I realized something important: families do not just need medical information. They need steady, compassionate guidance. They need someone to sit with them in uncertainty. They need reassurance that choosing peace is not the same as giving up.
Through Crossing Paws, I provide telehospice consultations and end-of-life decision support for families navigating their pet’s final chapter.
My role is not to tell you what to do.
My role is to help you see clearly.
To assess quality of life thoughtfully.
To identify suffering gently.
To support you in making a decision rooted in love.
You do not have to navigate this alone.
No matter which consultation you choose, the process is simple and supportive:
Appointment confirmation with a brief intake form
Optional sharing of medical records for review
A consent form prior to the consultation
A calm, unhurried Zoom conversation focused on guidance and support

What To Expect
Care Resources
In addition to consultations, I offer trusted resources to support you and your family — including quality-of-life assessment tools, book recommendations for children and adults, and emotional support resources.
When You’re Ready
There’s no “right” time to reach out — only the time that feels right for you and your pet. If you’re feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or seeking guidance about your pet’s comfort, quality of life, or end-of-life care, I’m here to support you.
When you’re ready, you can schedule a virtual pet hospice or palliative care consultation at a time that works best for you. We’ll talk things through together with care, honesty, and respect for the bond you share with your animal.
If you don’t see a time that works, or you’re in urgent need, please email us at crossingpawsvet@gmail.com — I’ll do my best to accommodate.
